I finally found a place that has the Pupusas. The pupusas are beautiful, I prefer a little salt with mine but these ladies make the most delicious food. Hands-down they have the best sopes, the carnitas, carne asada either are great,. The husband likes the chimichangas he says 4.5. Super nachos are pretty tasty as are the tacos. I do like the loroco pupusas and they serve it with this amazing coleslaw. One day I'll work up the nerve to ask them how they make it. I'm only giving a four because well hell I don't even know. Oh right it's a four because the tables are terrible they wobble I hate that, it's either really hot or really cold and the decor is really quite honestly horrible and it takes like 15 minutes to get your food but please don't let any of those negatives detract you from coming to karlitas especially when I'm not there because this place rules.

OK I'm updating to a five because they have new paint, and tables and they've freshened up the decor.

Prices have gone up to the point of absurdity. Nearly $15 for two tacos and a small side of rice and beans. That's worse than Chipotle. The prices went up significantly in the past several months and it was a bit of a shock to me.

I like the quality of the food, they have some of the best tacos in the area, but it's getting to the point where the cost is too high to justify going here anymore.

Came for lunchtime with my daughter and husband. The restaurant wasn't busy. I ordered 2 cheese pupusas. Was not a fan. Super greasy, flavorless, and burnt. The service was okay, but the waitresses were really confused as to which person ordered what. Wouldn't recommend coming here and won't be coming back.

My first time here came it because it looked like a good no BS taco place.  I had to do a double take at the menu when I saw the prices but I ordered a $10 burrito and $9 cheese quesadilla for the kid anyway.  I asked for extra napkins and I got 1... literally 1 more napkin.
The burrito was good with fresh ingredients and good steak... the quesadilla was well a cheese quesadilla.  Overall I'm satisfied with the food and service so I do recommend this place but be prepared to pay a premium for your Mexican food without the premium Mexican restaurant anything.
